About the Essay Writing Competition on Contemporary Converging Techno-Legal Issues
With an aim to promote Science, Technology & Law a combination of techno-legal thoughts. Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has established LexTech Science and Law Club. After the successful organization of workshops, seminars and training courses in the past, LexTech—GNLU Science Technology and Law Club is proud to announce the 3rd LexTech Essay Writing Competition, 2018. 3rd LexTech Law & Technology Essay Writing Competition, 2018 seeks to address the emerging scientific/technological issues and impact of these on various legal philosophies. The contributors stand a chance to win cash prizes and get their essays published in a journal with an ISBN number.
Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar, India is a University established by the Government of the State of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. LexTech—GNLU Science Technology and Law Club (hereinafter referred to as LexTech) is a joint initiative of the faculty and students of Science and Technology. Being one of the first National Law Universities in India to acknowledge the necessity of scientific temperament in the legal scenario.
The essay writing competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in any discipline in a recognized University/ Law Schools/ College/ Institute in India, researchers as well as the practitioner.
The essay should be based on any ONE of the themes mentioned below:
- Cyber intelligence
- Online trading
Competition Registration Fees
- Indian Nationals:- Rs. 200 INR
- Other SAARC Nationals:- Rs. 500 INR
- Others:- $ 20 USD
- The Last date to register expression of interest is 01st March 2018 (Thursday)
- The Last date for payment of registration fees is 01st March 2018 (Thursday)
- The Last date for Submission of Complete essay is 31st March 2018 (Saturday)

The participants must register themselves by filling the online form. Registrations can be done simultaneously with the submission, but the topics shall be registered before the prescribed date. The topic once registered shall not be changed.
