3rd National Law School Animal Protection PIL Competition (APPC) 2019

About

The Society for Non-Human Persons (SNHP), at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore will be hosting the 3rd Edition of the Humane Society International, India Presents NLS Animal Protection PIL Competition from the 19th to 21st of April, 2019.

SNHP has, since it’s inception in 2013, strived to improve the welfare of animals and increase awareness of animal rights in society, especially in the legal community. To this extent, SNHP organises vaccination drives and provides medical aid to distressed animals. As part of increasing awareness in the legal community, SNHP organises conferences and talks on animal rights.

The NLS Animal Protection PIL Competition is the brainchild of the committee and is the only competition of its kind in the country. It has attracted multitudes of students over the years since it’s inception two years ago. We hope to make this year’s edition the biggest yet.

The National Law School of India is one of the top law schools in the country and as a committee of this esteemed university, we will strive to challenge and develop the participant’s knowledge and passion for animal rights.

The links to the Rules and Schedule are given below. The last date for submitting clarifications is 10th March 2019 and for registration is 15th March 2019.
