The Moot Court Committee of ILNU has now embraced to follow the league and host the 8th National Moot Court Competition (8th ILNU-NMCC) 2018 in association with the Competition Commission of India.
The competition is scheduled to be held from August 31st to September 02nd, 2018.
The 8th ILNU-NMCC will provide an avenue for students to experience a medley of an opportunity of arguing before a simulated panel of leading practitioners and industry experts, and develop a deeper understanding of competition law simultaneously, while also interacting with lawyers and practitioners from across the country.
This prestigious moot court competition is a benchmark in India’s mooting circuit and is highly known for its impeccable judging by experienced legal stalwarts. Previous editions of the competition have been very well received, and have seen participation from top universities from across the country. The University has now gained a reputation for its impeccable quality in the organization of moots.
Further, ILNU MCC is delighted to announce that the 8th ILNU-NMCC 2018 has cemented association with Gaggar & Partners (one of the most renowned law firm in the field of Competition Law) as Organizing Partner for the event.
Taking our collaboration forward, the Winners, as well as the Runner-Ups of the 8th ILNU-NMCC, will be securing an Internship in Gaggar & Partners Law firm. ILNU MCC is also proud to announce SCC Online and Eastern Book Company (EBC) as it’s Exclusive Knowledge Partner for Eighth edition of National Moot Court Competition, 2018.
The problem for this edition of the moot has been drafted by Mr. Rishabh Sancheti, Advocate, Supreme Court and is based on Competition law and Constitutional law.
This year’s moot proposition will be based on Competition Law tagged with Constitutional Law.
