Book Release : Guide to Insolvency Professional Examinations

By | March 27, 2017

Pranav Khatavkar, a Mumbai based Advocate who penned a book on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 in a short span of seven months after it was first published, has penned a second book on the qualifying examination for insolvency professionals i.e. insolvency professional examination.

Insolvency professionals facilitate the insolvency resolution and liquidation/bankruptcy for various entities under the Code i.e. corporate debtors, individuals and partnership firms (as the case may be). The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Professionals) Regulations, 2016 prescribe clearing the insolvency professional examination as one of the criteria for registration as an insolvency professional.

Legal Bites had an opportunity to peruse a copy of the book. After careful perusal and analysis of the contents of the book, Legal Bites states that the book is thorough, detailed and easy to navigate. The arrangement of the chapters is according to the prescribed syllabus. The book provides about 1000 practice questions for its readers which have been formulated in accordance with the model question paper released by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (for the benefit of the readers, the model question paper has also reproduced in the book).

The book is available at all leading law book stores across India and e-commerce websites.
