In times when the domestic market is bitten by a ‘Make in India’ vogue, a fresh ecosystem for intellectual property rights is replacing the older version. Such changes necessitate a need for learning the nitty-gritty of the system. Identifying the need for dissemination of knowledge on Intellectual Property Laws, policies a, d practices existing domestically, GNLU Centre for Intellectual Property Rights in partnership with the GNLU-GUJCOST Research Centre is organizing a one-day capsule course on Trademark Registration. This course primarily aims at providing both theoretical as well as practical information about the Trademark application and registration procedure followed in India. Recent changes introduced in the legislative framework of the Trademark law has made the registration process less cumbersome. It is further beneficial to attain knowhow of a transformed system. The course presents an excellent opportunity for participants to gain knowledge from people involved with the procedural aspects of trademark registration and engage in discussions with their co-participants.
