“China: We are not Nitish Kumar who will abuse you today and become friends later”
This fake viral headline is a hard hitting statement to depict the reality of current Indian governments. The time has come when the relationship between politicians and their post-election negotiations are deciding that which party shall come into power. Direct elections have now become just a formality to be executed disgracing democracy that will be soon replaced by indirect elections. The quality of our democracy has been undermined without anyone really noticing what has happened.
Case of Mauvin and Pandurang
Earlier, in December 2016, Mauvin Godinho and Pandurang Madkaikar, two sitting Congress MLAs, were inducted by BJP from the Congress. Godinho won the Dabolim assembly seat by defeating his nearest rival from the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party by a margin of 2,494 votes. Madkaikar won the Cumbharjua seat by 8,434 votes, beating Congress candidate Xavier Fialho. The interesting and the contrasting fact that I found is BJP leaders themselves had filed corruption cases against the duo in the past.
Case of Mahagathbandhan
Nitish Kumar while forming the “Mahagathbandhan” beforehand knew that there were corruption charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav. But surprisingly in a sudden stroke, he got enlightenment that he chose the wrong path and he has a second chance to improve his mistake. Subsequently the move was backed by that BJP which has questioned the genes of Nitish Kumar and has questioned his integrity. To our dismay Nitish, being an opportunist even after such ugly relations garnered their support to save his throne. Today, I feel like I am the only person left who hasn’t watched Games of Thrones otherwise everyone in the country is getting inspired by it.
Sarcastically via Faking News Nitish Kumar in reply to China said that, This was my whole plan, to make the news so big that even China acknowledges the power of Indians when it comes to diplomacy and politics. Whenever China will poses threat to Indian borders I will take such drastic measures for curbing their aggression.
And here the irony is that People’s fanaticism has been at such a high node that speeches like these lines are getting support nationwide. The party which he has joined hands has the cleanest reputation with the most righteous, benevolent and virtuous person as its leader. In my point of view, it should not be forgotten that to have development in country at highest par there must be a strong opposition party. Otherwise one day the people of country will find themselves in a situation that could not be reverted back.
