I’d like to share my monthly competition experience. I was first told about this by Mr. Deepanshu of submitting our papers for this competition. I had recently written 3 papers so I decided I’ll submit the 3 papers. They were titled:-
1. Evolution of International Law
2. Constitutional Effect of BREXIT
3. Forest Conservation Case in India
Winner of March Task-2017
- Hiteshi Kakkar-School of Law, FIMT
I am the College Amicus at legal bites and every month they provide us with different tasks so that amicus can showcase their talent and come out with their unique ideas. In the month of March, I was asked to prepare set of questions to interview the eminent advocates of our country like Mr. Jethmalani and Mr. Khurshid. Also questions for law professors and advocates.
This task was very creative and gave me an insight because as a law student I have a desire to meet the personalities like Mr. Jethmalani or Mr. Khurshid but I never thought what questions I would ask when I will encounter them. While preparing for this task, I did a lot of research work which helped to broaden my knowledge by readings their profile thoroughly, most importantly this task helped me to understand the application of law because while preparing my set of questions I read number of cases argued by these lawyers. And also how are they balancing their political and advocate life.
I would conclude by saying that this was a great task in order to help me and my fellow mates to understand how and what the legal giants apply their minds and help the system to deliver justice to the party and the society. I am thankful to the team for awarding me the first position and gift hamper.
And lastly I would thank the legal bites team and would suggest that if we are given a task to prepare such questionnaires then we should also be provided with a chance to execute these task by providing us the opportunity to interview these personalities in person that would be a real implementation of such tasks and it will add a great value to our team.
Winner of February Monthly Task,2017
Rangoli Tiwari – Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad
In February, I was asked to do a task by Legal Bites which was sort of like a competition and it required me to write a 2000-3000 word subject note or about 5 leading case laws on 20 of the subjects given.
I wrote an Article for that task on Custom a subtopic under the subject Jurisprudence. It was interesting to write since I had to think a lot on giving the topic Custom a different perspective and according to me I was able to do so. I actually won so I was immensely happy that I got the first prize. Mission Accomplished. I thank Legal Bites for giving me this opportunity. Looking forward to other tasks by Legal Bites that I get the opportunity to do.

The monthly task in which I participated was article writing. I believe such tasks are really helpful for our overall growth and it keeps our interest in the post of campus senator as well. I had a very pleasant experience and luckily I secured the second position which is like icing on the cake for me.
