THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION Three Days Arbitration Training Programme in Hyderabad
The International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) is an autonomous organisation working under the aegis of the Supreme Court of India, with its Headquarters at New Delhi and Regional Centres at Hyderabad and Bangalore. It has been established to promote, popularise and propagate alternative dispute resolution methods to facilitate early resolution of disputes so as to reduce the burden of arrears in Courts. The Chief Justice of India is the Ex-Officio Chairperson of ICADR.
The International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) will be conducting an Arbitration Training Programme in Hyderabad for Three Days from 23rd to 25th March, 2017 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) from 09:30 A.M. to 05:30 P.M. The training will be provided by Mr. Justice I.P. Vasishth (Retd.), Mr. M.S. Doabia and Mrs. Mandira Mitra, Master Trainers trained by Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), U.K. under a World Bank Project and also practising High Court/Supreme Court Advocates.
The Broad Topics to be covered are Introduction to ADR, Scope and ambit of Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, Types of Arbitration, Arbitration Agreement – Law of Contract, Constitution of the Arbitral Tribunal, Challenges to the Arbitral Tribunal, Jurisdictional issues before the Arbitral Tribunal, Categories of Awards, Enforcement of Awards, Appellate Orders and miscellaneous arbitral provisions, International Commercial Arbitration. Persons who successfully complete the Training Programme will be given Certificates.
Applications from Law Officers, Officers working in various Chambers of Commerce, Corporates, Public Sector Undertakings, Public Companies and from Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Engineers Construction Industry and other interested persons who want to undergo the proposed Training Programme are invited. The maximum seats for the said Training Programme are forty (40) only on first come first served basis. Fees for the said Training Programme will be Rs. 10,000/- which include the cost of material to be supplied to the delegates, fees, etc. of the Faculty and refreshments including Lunch.
The VENUE OF THE TRAINING will be Regional Centre, ICADR, 10th Floor, Gagan Vihar Building, Opp. Gandhi Bhawan, M.J. Road, Nampally, Hyderabad – 500001.
