Accommodation: How, Where?
I was living in Inderlok. The easiest way to commute is by the metro. Tis Hazari metro station is adjacent to the court. So it hardly took me 30 minutes to reach to Tis Hazari from Inderlok by metro.
First impression, The first day, formalities etc.
Nothing as such. Be formal. Everyone is friendly and co-operative. Be on time and reach Chamber No. 738, Western Wing, Tis Hazari Courts, New Delhi.
Drafting, written pleadings, daily court cases, and research work for sub-judice matters. The cases were mainly at Tis Hazari Court and High Court.
I learned to work upon drafting of Legal Notices, Reply, Rejoinder, Preparation of Final Arguments, Legal Research Work, Preparation for Cross and Re-examination of Witnesses.
Work Environment, People
The work environment was pleasant with ample scope to learn from my seniors. They cleared my doubts whenever we had one. Their approach was quite friendly.
Well I am short of the Words as I feel there are not adequate words to describe how much I love being associated with the Chamber no.738 of Ikrant Sir
It was an amazing experience. I can not remember any bad memory of internship under Ikrant Sir
The biggest lesson I learned is that in this profession we have chosen, one has to work very, very hard to earn their stripes. This is a profession with high casualty rate, and it requires a high degree of dedication and utmost honesty to survive and succeed.
