How big was the office? Team strength?

The office was not that big it just has a common discussion room and 2-3 other rooms, but the team strength was good enough and all worked collectively and actively.

Accommodation: how, where, how was it?

I took a pg in sector 7c as it was near to the office and yes it was moderate.

First impression, First day, formalities etc.

First day we all had an introduction and had a healthy discussion on various legal issues with Mr. Mahavir Singh, Member Secretary, and Mr. V.K. Kapoor, further they also told us about the working of SLSA and the various schemes of NALSA.

Main tasks

Main tasks included certain visits to Snehalya, legal aid clinics, Nari Niketan, juvenile home, old age homes, visits to District Court for medications, Permanent Lok Adalats. Interns were assigned different schools and they had to deliver lectures in the school so allotted.

Work environment

Work environment was good and people were very helpful especially our internship in charge Mr. Rajeshwar.

Best things? (Nothing is all bad)

Best thing was the atmosphere and the work environment, moreover, there is no huge burden of work and interns are there welcomed with great enthusiasm.

Bad things? (Nothing is all good)

No bad things as such but the research work is less and field work is more.

Biggest lessons

Through this internship I saw the ground realities of our society and the problems which need to be cured, poverty, illiteracy, drugs, unemployment, and much more, It is not as good as one see it from the cover, reality is something different.
