U.P. State Legal Services Authority was constituted under section 6 of the Legal Services Authority Act 1987. Hon’ble the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court is Patron-in-Chief while Senior/Sitting Judge, Allahabad High Court is the Executive Chairman of the Authority and other judicial authorities.

Accommodation

As I m from the same city, there was no need of any accommodation.

Main Task

The main task what we actually as a intern needed to do was to visit all the sites schedule in the internship program and gain practical knowledge about legal aid & Govt. Bodies and observe the thing done their. Following places we visited: High court, District court, Jail, Women Power Line 1090, child observation home, forensic lab, Police station, cyber cell. Juvenile board and juvenile home.

Work Environment

A Friendly Environment and people of the organisation were ready to share the knowledge that they have. During the visit pick and drop facility was provided by UPSLSA

First day at organization

The very first day we had an orientation in which we were told about the working and function of UPSLSA First day I introduced to the officers of the oraganisation and all the intern. All effort were taken from their side to make their intern feel comfortable.

We got to visit different sites , where we had the opportunity to talk them directly and listen their problems or other problem of legal nature
