From a modest beginning in 2007, Chanderprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies & School of Law in short CPJCHS & SOL (Promoted by the Rishi Aurobindo Educational Society) is an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified quality institute and graded ‘A’ Institute by the SRF committee recognized by Government of NCT of Delhi, Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, Delhi and Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The College offered various courses in the field of management, computers and last but not the least in Law

The College has a fleet of buses available to different areas of Delhi/NCR. There are 8 bus routes to different locations. Besides DTC bus route no. 131,120,136 are also operative to college.

Infrastructure of college

The college is situated in its own sprawling one-acre campus in Narela, Delhi. It is well equipped with the all the basic to advanced facilities of the students required for learning with modern technology, Internet-enabled computers, well-organized library as well as Wi-Fi which is modern need of the students to learn from the online resources.

Hostel Facility

Hostel facility is available for male and female students at a convenient and safe location adjacent to the college premises.

Faculty and Academics

The teaching staff/faculty of each and every course(s) is very friendly in nature, supportive and always ready to help the students in every possible manner. College Timings are 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Use of Mobile Phone in the Classroom, Lab or Library is strictly prohibited.  Students are required to have minimum 75% of attendance in all the subjects/papers taught/covered in the semester.

Administration and Fee structure

The College Administration is very systematic and helpful. The fee structure for the course that is followed by the College is as prescribed by the State Level Fee Regulatory Committee and as per GGSIPU norms. The fee is payable annually for the entire academic year at the beginning of the academic session.

The cafeteria in the college is the best-loved place & the right place to take a breather between the lectures. It serves food that gets the taste buds tingling for more. It offers hygienically prepared delectable snacks, soft drinks and other assorted items catching the imagination of the young at heart. Café Coffee Day is a coffee shop for the young and the young at heart. India’s favourite coffee shop, popularly known as CCD has been opened in our CPJCHS & SOL Campus on October 8, 2016!!!

Student culture and activities

Understanding the culture of a nation, people or a group – the arts, beliefs, customs, practices, values and social behaviours – lies at the heart of our college. By attending cultural events, a CPJ-CHS & SOL student experiences firsthand the diverse offerings of culture and artistic expression found in oneself. CPJ-CHS & SOL inculcates the feeling of enthusiasm and makes the students realise the life within them. The college organises different events like Farewell Party, Cultural Fest accompanied by different competitions like Debate, Mehandi, Dance and Music wherein the students realise their talents and also showcase it. This way, a CPJian gets the best platform to learn and grow vivaciously. All the activities in the college are scheduled in such a way that they will impart value based education and practical training in the field of Management, Information Technology, Commerce and Law.


Yes, The College has an active placement cell and it has been organising campus placement drives. The Placement related activities are a part of the Corporate Exposure, Training and Placement Activity Cell (CETPAC). The CETPAC is headed by Mr. Yugank Chaturvedi, Director- Corporate Affairs. The detailed functions of the CETPAC include:

  • Conducting Industrial Visits & Industry Oriented Training Programmes
  • Conducting mock personal interviews and group discussions to make students aware of the selection procedures
  • Summer Industrial Training, Internship and final placement of students

Invite Professional Guest Speakers to impart necessary inputs for the above-mentioned activities

Best things about law school

There are various things which are best in our law school. Apart from basic college functions, the college organised guest lecturers regularly with the frequency of 2 to 3 in a week on the current topics of the courses they offered in the well-furnished auditorium of the College. Visits to Industries, Court Visits along with various legal departments, On campus placement, career counselling separate staff is recruited for these departments which work efficiently in order to make students future bright.

Worst things about law school

The college is located in remote area and it’s far from the main city.

Anything else you would like to mention?

Yes, In terms of Security, Guards roaming around the whole college regularly in order to maintain the security of the college and prevent anti-social elements from the college premises. Entry in college premises strictly with the college identity card issued by the College administration. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of the college/department/classroom as well as on public transport. In order to prevent such activity on campus, several committees have been developed and brought into operation even before the start of 1st-year classes by the Director / Principal. Since my college is affiliated to G.G.S.I.P. University, students are bound to abide by the provisions of G.G.S Indraprastha University Act, 1998, as well as statutes, ordinances and regulations framed therein, once they are on the roll of this College.
