National Law University Jodhpur is going to conduct a Certificate Course on Energy Law

Course Dates

7th – 17th February 2018

About

Energy is the fundamental necessity of human society and, indeed, of life itself. The energy resources are the rich parts of the world and have shown invaluable economic development in the past and they are still the richest economies in the world. The rapid development in the production and use of energy radically transforms the productive possibilities of mankind and concerns the social effects and functions of energy.

Therefore, the present course examines the presence and functions of energy in the human society in the contemporary social and economic system and the legal framework devised for dealing with it. The rules, procedures, institutions, practices, and arrangements governing production, exchange and use of energy materials, its carriage, production, and transmission constitute the international legal framework for energy and our goal is to provide a basic foundation in the mechanics of international energy law.
