ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAMME
Every individual in his day to day life negotiating for a deal or a dispute either on behalf of himself or on behalf of his entity. So, when parties are not well versed in their negotiation techniques may end up with inefficient deal or dispute settlement. Even, when dispute has arisen and pending before any other forum still negotiation plays vital role. Considering the importance of negotiation, some of the legislation’s mandate the disputing parties approach the opposite parties before filing their case in the
court. Mediation is known as third party facilitated negotiation. In mediation, the mediator fills the gap which hindered the actual negotiation between the parties. Mediation also helps the parties to console themselves and proceed to resolve their disputes. In India, court annexed mediation centers are resolving the pending cases especially matrimonial disputes. Section 89 of civil procedure code 1908 mandates the courts to refer the civil disputes to any one of the alternate dispute resolution (mediation/Lok Adalat/judicial settlement/conciliation/arbitration). Hindu marriage Act and family courts Act also rest an obligation on courts to resolve the matrimonial disputes through mediation. This training programme facilitates the participants to learn the art of principle negotiation and techniques of mediation.
This programme intends to train participants to become a good negotiator as well as mediator.
The Training Programme is designed to give the recipients a holistic view of alternate dispute resolution. Lectures will be conducted by the instructor entirely in English. This will be done through 16 hours of intensive sessions (24 – 26 March 2017: Per day 4-5 hours).

Under Graduate students & Post Graduate pursuing (Law, Social Science, Commerce, Management and Science), Professional and Academician.
The intake of Training Programme is 40 participants. Applications will be selected on first cum first basis. The registration process will be closed after receiving the first 40 candidates.
