Wisdom Journal is inviting high-quality original research contributions for an edited ISBN Book on Legal Responses to Climate Crimes: Reforming Criminal Law to Save the Environment from academicians, advocates, judges, researchers, and policy professionals to be part of this important scholarly initiative.

About the Book

Climate change has emerged as one of the gravest threats to humanity and the planet. While environmental laws exist, criminal law has remained largely ill-equipped to deal with large-scale climate destruction. This edited volume seeks to critically examine the concept of climate crimes and explore how criminal law must evolve to effectively prevent, punish and remedy climate-induced harm.

The book aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, and researchers to analyse doctrinal gaps, enforcement failures, corporate liability, procedural hurdles, and the future of climate justice through the lens of criminal law reforms.

The book will be published in paperback format with ISBN: 978-81-997132-2-2.
