The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) has officially announced its 15th Winter Course, continuing its long-standing tradition of academic excellence in international legal studies. Scheduled to be held from 5th to 9th January 2026, this prestigious programme will focus on “Debating International Environmental Law in the 21st Century” and will be conducted through physical classes in New Delhi

This intensive winter course comes at a crucial time when global environmental challenges demand stronger legal frameworks, informed policy debates, and skilled legal professionals.

About the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL)

Founded in 1959 at the initiative of Shri V. K. Krishna Menon and inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, ISIL has played a pioneering role in promoting the study and research of international law in India. Over the decades, ISIL has earned global recognition through its scholarly contributions, including the publication of the Indian Journal of International Law, its extensive law library, and its academic programmes

Through its teaching wing, the Indian Academy of International Law & Diplomacy, ISIL regularly conducts summer and winter courses aimed at bridging theory with contemporary international legal practice.
