The Centre for Innovation Research and Facilitation (CIRF) in Intellectual Property for Humanity and Development (IPHD) of CNLU, is calling for original logo designs for use as the official logo of the Centre.

About the Institution

Chanakya National Law University [CNLU] is an autonomous law school in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar as a public university dedicated to the field of legal education.

About CIRF in IPHD

The Centre has been established with the aim to disseminate knowledge and promote research in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and related fields. Intellectual property is a creation of the mind. It is in the form of copyright, patents, Trademarks, design, integrated circuit layout design, trade secret, and geographical indications, biotechnological inventions, traditional knowledge, inventions related to plant varieties, farmers’/ plant breeders’ rights. Every type of intellectual creation is socio-economic-oriented. But there is a requirement of protection to the creators for their economic and moral rights involved in it. At the same time, the dissemination of intellectual property knowledge among society is essential. The industry also requires connection and involvement.

All Participants are required to design the logo incorporating the above idea and the name of the Centre in full. The logo must be designed as a VECTOR IMAGE.

Submission

  • Last date for Submission of entries: 31st January 2021.
  • All submissions are to be made on cirf.journal@gmail.com addressing the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. S C Roy.
  • The winner of the logo competition will be awarded a Certificate and a prize amount of Rs 500/-.

Important Note

The author of the selected logo shall be entitled to the Certificate and the prize amount of Rs. 500/- but shall have no claim of any Intellectual Property Rights in the logo, either present or in future.
