The Fox Mandal Foundation has launched a pro bono initiative, #MovingAhead, where the firm has pledged to offer 100 hours of free legal advice, per month (for three months), to Startups and MSMEs who need support at this juncture. Under the aegis of this scheme, the firm has set an initial goal of providing 25 to 50 entities with 2 to 4 hours of pro bono advice each i.e. up to 100 hours on a first-come-first-served basis.

About the Fox Mandal Foundation pro bono initiative

The assistance is meant for MSMEs, Startups, Educational Institutions, Students, NGOs and other charitable institutions. Services pertaining to corporate & commercial laws, compliance, real estate, employment laws, tax laws, intellectual property laws, dispute resolution and litigation can be availed under the program.

Regarding the initiative, Mr. Shuva Mandal, Managing Partner, says,

“The occurrences of the past few months have triggered in every human being, a desire to serve. I am happy that our Foundation could give shape to our honest intentions in the form of this initiative.”

“Since small businesses are currently grappling with the economic fallout, we decided to lend a helping hand to ease the transition. We hope more and more entities can derive benefit under this program,” adds Santosh Vikram Singh, Partner, who spearheads the campaign.
