Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) in association with VIT Pune MUN Society presents PCGT e-National Youth Parliament, Pune, which will be held on 3rd and 4th October 2020 through Zoom as the online platform.

The Youth Parliament will host 4 committees which will be Moderated by a very experienced Executive Board.

Committees and Agendas

I. Lok Sabha: The Lok Sabha is the Lower House of the Indian Parliament. The 17th Lok Sabha is the ground for revolutionary changes in the country and debate in this house is one of the most breath-taking things to experience.

Agenda: “Discussing the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019.”

II. Rajya Sabha: Rajya Sabha is the Upper House of the Indian Parliament. It is one of the most important pieces in the Indian Legislative Procedure.

Agenda: “Discussing the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill, 2020”

Vice-Chairman: Ishan Aphale

III. AIPPM: AIPPM stands for All India Political Parties Meet. It is the conglomeration of all major parties and ideologies in India’s vibrant democracy. The electric and unrestricted nature of the debate in this committee makes it a favourite for all Indian Politics enthusiasts.

Agenda: “Assessing the impact of the National Education Policy, 2020.”

IV. Press: The Press brings ideas, deliberations and actions out of the walls of the parliament, to the people of the Country. This is a committee where participants are expected to write reports after witnessing the simulated Parliamentary proceedings.
