Criminal breach of trust | X, while going on a journey, entrusts his diamond ring to Y. Y sells the diamond ring. What offence, if any has been committed by Y. [UPCJ.1990]- Dishonest Misappropriation of Property | A is on a train journey. He takes the suitcase having money and valuable ornaments of B believing to be his own… Is A guilty of ‘dishonest misappropriation of property? Give reasons.
- Extortion | A threatens to B that he will be implicated in a false criminal case if he does not give 50,000 rupees to him. B gives Rs. 50,000 to him. Is A guilty of the offense of extortion? Give reasons. Refer to the case law also, if any, on the point.
