Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune, is delighted to invite researchers to contribute chapters for an edited book on the theme "Ramayana: An Instrument for Indianising Socio-Legal Approaches". This book aims to explore the connections between Ramayana and various social sciences, such as law, sociology, economics, political science, and state administration.

Submission Guidelines

  • Word Limit: 3000 – 5000 words (including footnotes)
  • Font: Times New Roman, Font Size: 12 (Footnotes: 10)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 (Footnotes: 1.0)
  • Citation Method: The Bluebook Style of Citation, 20th Edition
  • Language: English/ Hindi/ Marathi
  • Authorship: Maximum of two authors per chapter

Interested researchers are requested to submit their chapter's title along with a brief author profile including Name, Designation, Institutional Affiliation, Contact details, and email ID. Registration is compulsory for all authors. The submissions should be sent via email to cids@sclc.edu.in.

Review Process

To ensure impartial evaluation, the double-blind review process will be followed. Authors must refrain from mentioning their names or institutional affiliations anywhere in the main body of the manuscript.

Publication and Certificates

Selected chapters will be published in the edited book, and authors will receive a hard copy of the book via courier after publication. However, no publication certificates will be provided.

  • Registration of Title of Chapter: 17th August 2023
  • Last Date for Submission of Title, Abstract, and Full Chapter: 30th August 2023
  • Notification of Selection of Title: Within 3 working days after the submission of Title
  • Proposed Publication of Book: November 2023
