The Delhi Journal for Law and Justice (DJLJ), a student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed journal of Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, invites submissions for its 2026 Issue. The journal aims to publish original, high-quality legal research and promote critical engagement with contemporary issues relating to law, justice, governance, and rights in India and beyond.
About the Journal
DJLJ is committed to fostering innovative and interdisciplinary legal scholarship. It provides a platform for students, researchers, and practitioners to contribute to evolving legal discourse and bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Eligibility
Submissions are invited from:
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Research scholars
- Legal practitioners and policy professionals
- Interdisciplinary submissions are welcome, provided they follow a recognised legal research methodology.
Categories of Submission
- Long Articles: 5,000–8,000 words
- Short Articles: 3,000–5,000 words
- Legislative / Case Comments: 1,500–2,000 words
- Book Reviews: 1,000–1,200 words
Themes
Submissions may focus on:
- Contemporary legal issues (national or international)
- Recent judicial developments
- Comparative law and legal systems
- Interdisciplinary legal studies
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and unpublished
- Co-authorship is allowed for up to two authors (except case comments and book reviews)
- Articles must adhere to prescribed word limits
- Long and short articles must include:
- Abstract (200–250 words)
- 5 keywords
- Bluebook (21st Edition) citation format must be followed
- Only footnotes are permitted (no endnotes)
Formatting Requirements
- Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Footnotes: Size 10
- Margins: 1 inch
- Structured headings (up to 4 levels) required

DJLJ follows a multi-stage double-blind peer review process, ensuring:
