Government Law College, Kozhikode is inviting papers for its upcoming National Seminar National Seminar on Women's Rights in India: A Human Rights Perspective scheduled to be held on 11th -12th March 2024.
About Government Law College, Kozhikode
Established in the year 1970, Government Law College, Kozhikode, is one of the pioneering legal educational institutions in the state of Kerala. The institute is owned and operated by the Government of Kerala and is affiliated with the University of Calicut. It is recognized as a Centre of Excellence by the Kerala Government.
About the Seminar
Women face violence and discrimination due to tradition and culture. They lack basic rights, opportunities, and choices in various aspects of life. Despite the efforts of women’s rights movements, women’s fear of violence persists and hinders their equality and empowerment. This seminar seeks to discuss the issues and challenges of protecting women’s rights.
