Drishyam Vidhi

Earlier Justice Anand Pathak was associated with DNLU in expanding the experiential learning technique ‘Drishyam Vidhi’. The series of workshops have introduced an audio-visual mode of teaching and learning of criminal law which according to Justice Pathak shall bridge the gap between academics and practice of criminal law.

In such an instructional format, different teams form (such as investigation, prosecution, and judges) and participate as if it were a real-time event. One group conducts the investigation and proposes a chargesheet, while another acts as prosecution and the defense side tries to save the accused. The jury/judges are tasked with writing judgments based on the evidence presented by the parties.
