The School of Law and Legal Studies, SDGI Global University, is delighted to announce its 1st National Conference on AI Governance: Strategies, Ethics, and Public Policy, to be held on 28th November, 2025.

This pioneering academic event aims to bring together scholars, policymakers, researchers, industry professionals, and students to collectively explore the emerging challenges and opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance. The conference aims to establish a multidisciplinary forum for deliberating on how law, ethics, and policy can converge to ensure the development of responsible, transparent, and accountable AI systems that promote public trust and societal well-being.

AI Governance: Strategies, Ethics, and Public Policy.

The conference will focus on the legal, ethical, and policy architecture required to regulate the use of AI technologies while sustaining innovation.

The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode.

Submission Guidelines

  • The abstract should be 250-300 words long with 3-5 keywords. The authors of the selected abstracts will be emailed an acceptance letter with the registration link for the Conference, the details of the event, as well as the payment link.
  • Your abstract should be submitted in Word format ONLY. It must not mention anything about the author and their affiliation. The author(s) is/are required to submit a separate Word Document containing a cover letter for each author.
  • The full paper must be 3000–5000 words long.
  • The citations must adhere to Bluebook Citation 21st edition.
  • Co-authorship is limited to two authors.
  • The paper shall not be plagiarized and shall not be generated by AI. Research papers with similarity exceeding 10% shall be rejected.
  • All papers will undergo a blind peer-review process, and the selected ones will be informed accordingly.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font style: Times New Roman
  • Title of the Paper: Full Caps, Centre Alignment, Font size-16, Bold
  • Body of the paper: Font size-12, Justified Alignment
  • Headings and subheadings should be in Bold, Font size-14, in full caps and left aligned
  • Paragraph settings: Spacing before the paragraph-3pt, spacing after the paragraph-3pt and 1.5 line spacing.
  • The default settings shall be followed for margins for the full research paper.
  • The margins for the abstract shall be 2.54 cm from each side.

Format of the Cover Letter

The cover letter shall include the following:

  • Title of the paper
  • Author’s full name, designation, institutional affiliation, and contact details
  • A declaration that the work is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.
