Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, is organizing a One-Day Training and Awareness Program on Menstrual Care and Human Rights, in collaboration with the esteemed National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), scheduled for February 17th, 2024.

DNLU created history in September 2023 by becoming the first institute to pioneer menstrual leave for all female students, setting a remarkable precedent for Menstrual Care, Sensitisation, Rights, and Equity.

This comprehensive program aims to delve into crucial facets of Menstrual Care, its Sensitization, and Human Rights, featuring expert speakers from diverse backgrounds.

Topics of discussion will include Understanding Menstrual Cycles and Addressing them, Associated Taboos, Exploring Human Rights in the Context of Health and Hygiene, and Examining Policies regarding Menstrual Leave in both Professional and Educational Settings.
