Alliance University is a Private University established in Karnataka by the State Act No.34 of the year 2010. About Alliance School of Law

Alliance School of Law, Alliance University is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The Alliance School of Law offers two five-year, integrated undergraduate courses in law, viz., Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law Honors - B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) and Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Law Honors - B.B.A. LL. B. (Hons.), as well as a 3-year LLB course that has been carefully crafted and designed to prepare its graduates for rewarding careers in various roles and responsibilities in legal service organizations.

About ICLS 2023

Law plays an important role in social transformation by having a direct impact on society. It has always been looked at as one of the important instruments that could bring about social change. Thus, social transformation is the modification of the way people work. As a result, social transformation entails changes in people's working habits. Changes in technology, demography, competitiveness, conflict, ideology, political life, economic policy, and legal principles are all variables that contribute to social transformation. We at Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, have always strived to achieve excellence in Legal Research, hence, organizing a one-day International Conference on Law and Social Transformation (ICLS)-2023 on September 09, 2023, and this would be an annual endeavor in the years to come.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: Not more than 300 words and a minimum of relevant 5 keywords
  • Paper: Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of one author. However, both authors need to register separately. In the case of co-authorship, at least one author must attend the conference to present the paper. No Proxy presentations are allowed. Both author and co-author need to pay separately
  • Maximum Length: 6000 words including title/cover page and references
  • Margins: 1" on all sides
  • Regular Font: Times New Roman, 12 points, Line spacing 1.5 justified
  • Title Font: Times New Roman, 14 points, bold, Line spacing 1.5
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10 with a spacing of 1.0
  • Citation: Bluebook 20th Edition
  • Similarity: Should not exceed 15%

Publication

Selected research papers will be published in an edited book form (Lex-Et-Mutatio) with ISBN Number. Two best research papers and one best presentation from each track will receive awards. However, papers not complying with the guidelines given above will not be accepted for publication.

Note

Both Author and Co-Author [if applicable] must pay the registration fee separately and can register only once through the registration link provided.

There is NO registration fee for Faculty Members and Students of Alliance University. However, registration is mandatory.
