About Government Law College Mumbai

Government Law College, Mumbai was founded in 1855 and has established itself as one of the most prestigious law schools in Asia. About the Event

This year we are hosting the 3rd edition of Freedom Fighter Late Shri. Prem Nidhi Agrawal Memorial Essay Competition. Our aim is to give the participants a platform where they gain in-depth knowledge by performing top-notch research on a particular subject and compose an essay on the same with their immaculate drafting skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Students of age group 14-24.

Free.

No registration is required. The participants have to directly submit their essays on the link given below.

Topics

  • Critical analysis of defamation jurisprudence in India.
  • Role and impact of Artificial Intelligence in Judiciary.

Guidelines

  • Word Limit: 2500 Words (Excluding an abstract of not more than 300 words)
  • Citation style: Harvard BlueBook 20th Edition
  • Co-authorship of up to two authors allowed
  • Zero plagiarism policy

Prizes

  • Winning Essay: Cash Prize of Rs. 6,000 /-, a trophy, certificate of merit, and publication of the essay in GLCMUN Souvenir.
  • Second: Cash Prize of Rs. 4,000 /-, a trophy, and a Certificate of Merit.
  • Third: Cash Prize of Rs. 2,000 /-, a trophy, and a Certificate of Merit.
