The Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru is organizing Justice N. Santosh Hegde National Moot Court Competition, 2024, scheduled to take place from 22nd to 24th March, with preliminary rounds in February 2024.
About the Organiser
Alliance University is a non-profit private university that was established in the State of Karnataka by Act No. 34 of year 2010 under the recognition of the University Grants Commission of the Ministry of Education. Alliance School of Law, Alliance University is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.
About the Competition
The Pre-Qualifier round will be conducted via an online platform Page | 3 on 24th February 2024 which will be followed by the Octa-Final Round (16 Teams qualified from the Pre-Qualifier Round) offline at Alliance University Campus from 21st to 23rd March 2024.
Eligibility
Students enrolled in either the 5-year Integrated course or the 3-year LLB course are eligible to participate in this competition.

Awards and Certificates
- Best Team: The team winning the final round of the competition will receive a trophy and a cash prize of INR 1,00,000.
- Runners-Up: The runners-up team in the final round of the competition will receive a trophy and a cash prize of INR 60,000.
- Best Orator: The orator with the highest oral score in the preliminary rounds will be awarded a cash prize of INR 15,000 each.
- Best Written Submission: The team with the highest written submission score from the Appellant and Respondent sides will receive a cash prize of INR 15,000 each.
- Best Researcher: The participant with the highest Researcher's score will be awarded a cash prize of INR 15,000.
- Certificates of Merit will be given to all the teams qualifying for the Octa-finals and beyond.
- Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all participating teams.
Note
- The awards, Certificates of Merit, and Certificates of Participation will be presented during the valedictory ceremony scheduled for March 23, 2024.
- No certificates will be distributed to teams before or after the valedictory function.
