About 10th Institute of Law National Moot Court Competition 2021

The Institute of Law – National Moot Court Competition (IL-NMCC) is an initiative of the student community at ILNU with an aim to bring together students from different regions to come together, interact, compete and challenge their skills as future legal practitioners. As one of the promising law schools in India, we have constantly undertaken measures to provide holistic and meaningful legal education to bright young students from across the country. In the course of such endeavours, we have effectively organized Nine National Moot Court Competitions.

It gives us immense pleasure to announce the 10th edition of the National Moot Court Competition, 2021 (NMCC) in association with the Competition Commission of India, which is set to take place from April 16th to 18th, 2021. Owing to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, this time the event is set to take place virtually. This edition’s problem is based on contemporary and developing aspects of Competition Law along with Intellectual Property Rights.

Format of the Competition

The competition will take place virtually. It is a three-day event, consisting of the Preliminary Rounds and the Advanced Rounds. The Advanced Rounds of the Competition shall consist of the Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals, and the Final Round. The Moot Court Committee (Organizing) at ILNU, welcomes universities and institutions from all over the country, to participate in the 10th IL – NMCC.
