About the Organiser
The Debate & Discussion Society of JEMTEC School of Law, Greater Noida aims to promote all forms of debate such as MUNs, Parliamentary debates, Client Counselling sessions, General Debates, Judgment writing competitions, Article writing competitions, Research Work, etc. The society has a history of conducting various competitions such as Intra Debate Competition, Intra Judgment writing Competition, Youth Parliament, Article writing competition, etc. Debate & Discussion Society of JEMTEC School of Law endeavours to promote a wide perspective of socio-political issues concerning different sects of the society amongst the students. For the same, it is organising a Model United Nations on issues which cover a wide range of subjects.
About 1st JEMTEC Model United Nations (MUN’22)
JEMTEC Model United Nations (MUN’22) provides you with the opportunity to discuss ideas, debate current issues, learn about the United Nations and international relations, and propose solutions to many global problems.
JEMTEC Model United Nations (MUN’22) objectives are:
- Gain a better understanding of contemporary global concerns and sharpen your critical thinking skills.
- Develop ideas to solve current international challenges and improve their diplomacy abilities.
- Enhance critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership talents, as well as research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills.
- Distinguish between the parliament and the United Nations, as well as power struggles and diplomacy.
UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY (DISEC): Combating violent non-state actors and countering the threat posed by improvised explosive devices.
ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES MEET(AIPPM): Examining growing pseudo-secularism and communal hatred in India with special emphasis on religion in politics.

All Delhi NCR school students from classes 8th to 12th are eligible to participate, regardless of their stream.
