About the course by CLRS

Litigation in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is India is quite diverse because there are multiple Courts and different Courts have different practices. Such varied practices require the formulation of different strategies.

This course is intended to teach students the transfer of rights and enforcement of rights in case of infringement. Civil, Criminal and Administration remedies provided under the Law will be examined. The obligations under TRIPS and the Dispute settlement mechanism Under TRIPS will also be examined in the light of the cases.

Course Structure

The content of the Online Certificate Course on IPR Litigation has been divided into 4 carefully designed modules, which will be shared every week.

Exam structure/Assessment process

The examination will be conducted at the end of the one-term course. The Examination will consist of a written test of 50 and an assignment of 50 marks.

Terms of Passing: To be eligible to pass in the examination of the course a student should secure a minimum passing percentage of 50% i.e. 50 marks out of 100 marks.

Publication of Assignment: Assignments will be in the form of Researched Manuscript(s) and will be published (subject to quality) without any extra charges in a Journal or Edited Book. Separate Certificate will be provided for the same.
