Legal Bites. Legal Bites is an educational platform which provides basic knowledge about the core areas of law. The website offers various opportunities to students in the form of competitions, events and jobs.
Duration of Internship
18th November – 25th January. It was supposed to be a 1-month internship but due to my ill health and some other problems, I was not able to complete the internship on time.
Team
As for communication with the team, I was allotted a mentor from Legal Bites who guided me throughout the internship and I had to submit my tasks to the editor. Most of my communications were limited to these two persons.
Application Procedure
I applied through Internshala. Then they contacted me through Internshala chat where they gave me their official email id and two selection tasks.
After selection, there was a short interview on the phone where my mentor explained the rules and the procedure for the internship.
Accommodation
My internship in Legal Bites was an online work from home internship and there was so I basically stayed in my home and college during the term of my internship.
Projects or tasks undertaken
As an intern at Legal Bites my task was to complete 22 articles given by them in the course of a month. I did my internship on Law of Evidence. The topics were given by them and we were supposed to write a detailed article on the topic.
Perks
The one-month internship I applied for was having the perks of a certificate and ₹5000 stipend money. Also, there were flexible working hours and the work was only for 5 days a week.
Work culture and people and experience
During the first day interview, I was made clear that I need to follow the deadlines and I should submit my work in time. However, I could not comply with my deadlines due to some health issues and some other problems. But team Legal Bites was very co-operative to me and after enquiry, they clarified that the delay in my submissions will not affect my stipend amount and my internship certificate. Everyone is very co-operative in Legal Bites and they do not over pressurize you with work. After every submission, I was communicated with an acknowledgement mail and if I did any mistake in my submissions proper instructions use to be there.
Considering everything my experience at Legal Bites was very good. I would definitely recommend Legal Bites for people who are searching for an online internship. The topics given to me were also very contemporary ones so I had no problems researching them. In short, I had an amazing experience working with team Legal Bites.
