PUCL office is very congested and its hard to settle with few people in the office for any meeting. Although the office is small people working their are very kind hearted and truly dedicated towards their work which matters a lot. On the first day, Mr. N D Pancholi commanded us to visit certain workshops and conferences to observe and study the related issues. He further asked us to prepare the report.

Main tasks:

Working from home was very independent feeling as there is no pressure of any high authority and you are allowed to work as per your comfort.

Our main task was to visit and attend the conferences also attend the classes in Gandhi Peace Foundation which was very fruitful to us. We also visited Press Club of India and Indian Social Institute where we met prominent lawyers like Prashant Bhushan sir and Indira Ma’am.

Work environment and people:

Work-environment was very friendly. My co-interns were active and belonged to different universities. It was a good experience to interact with them and working with different people help you in learning and improve the communication skills.

Best things:

For me, the best thing is working from home. Attending Gandhi Peace Foundation meetings was the best thing in the internship as it gives the good experience. Further, we got the opportunity to meet several senior lawyers of the Supreme Court.

Bad things:

None

Stipend:

No

Biggest Lessons:

Punctuality

Any Other Thing:

Nothing, go for it. PUCL is worth it. You come to know about ground reality.

No. They don’t provide accommodation but you can easily get one near the office.

Office Timings:

The timings varied for different events. But the maximum time we had to report at 9.00AM in the morning. We had different works and sessions until 5:00 PM in the evening.
