Job for Senior Manager/AGM Legal at Avenue Supermarts Ltd., Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Incumbent must have sound knowledge and be able to guide the business team on various compliances under FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Consumer Protection Act, Insecticide Act, Drugs & Cosmetics, etc.
Responsibilities
- Advising business and marketing teams in relation to labelling claims, product artwork, etc
- Responsible for drafting of Private Label/ Own Brand agreements and ensure all legal obligations and terms are captured to protect the company’s interest and mitigate any risk which may arise from the same.
- Supervise the application/registration of Trademarks, Copyrights, etc of Design, Product, Logos, Brands, and Names, etc. Maintain a database/record of approvals received and pending cases.
- Proactively keeps abreast of legislative changes and their impacts on business.
- Demonstrates practical application of laws and regulatory issues, corporate governance, compliance, and business practices.
