HNLU Raipur is organising a Panel Discussion on “Role of Youth in Public Policy and Governance” on the occasion of the National Youth Day, i.e. 12th January, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event goes live from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm on January 12th, 2021 through WebEx.

About HNLU

Established in 2003, Hidayatullah National Law University has completed the journey of more than one and half a decade. In such a short span of time, HNLU has carved out a niche in the realm of legal education across India and the legacy is soaring towards newer heights day by day.

Named after the great legal luminary Justice Mohammed Hidayatullah, the University was established by the Government of Chhattisgarh under the Hidayatullah National University of Law, Chhattisgarh, Act (Act No.10 of 2003).

HNLU is the sixth in the series of National Law Schools across India. HNLU has been included in the list of the Universities maintained by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and has been declared fit to receive Central assistance in terms of the rules framed under Section 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is recognized by the Bar Council of India under section 7 of the Advocates Act 1961.

  • Mr. Himadrish Suwan. Director, Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership (IIGL) and Chairman, Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL)
  • Mr. Shobhit Mathur, Co-Founder & Dean of Rashtram School of Public Leadership
  • Ms. Srilekha Ati, Founder of CitySpeaks, Think Tank for urban research and civic engagement as the invited panelists.

The inaugural note would be delivered by Prof. Dr. V.C. Vivekanandan, Vice-Chancellor, HNLU. Ms. Debmita Mondal, Assistant Professor, would be the discussant on the occasion.

This webinar is being organized under the banner of ‘Ex Arca’, the digital initiative of HNLU to promote ‘out of the box’ thinking. The present edition of ‘Ex Arca’ focuses on the detrimental role that the present generation ought to play in the realm of Public Policy and Governance when our Republic has attained the age of 70, to make the democratic transaction a more participative one.
