About International Webinar on Covid-19 and Existential Crisis | SVKM’S Pravin Gandhi College Of Law

The spread of COVID-19 has influenced practically all circles of human life – physical, mental, emotional and monetary. In India, we are exploring the means to move on from different phases of lockdown.

Organizations are wrestling with this unanticipated emergency and attempting to moderate a few difficulties. Like other sectors the educational sector is also in a difficult situation so far as their congruity in ordinary exercises is concerned. Lock-down unquestionably hinders the spread of contamination of novel COVID infection yet it has gravely influenced the whole economy, especially the educational instructive frameworks around the world, prompting the closure of school, colleges, and universities. Like any other emergency, we will ride this tide, adjust, and come out more grounded.

This closure of the instructive segment has revealed insight into different social and monetary issues, including understudy obligation, advanced learning, food weakness and vagrancy. In this scenario, we hold this one-day International Webinar on “Covid-19 and Existential Crisis”

About Institution

SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law provides 5 Year B.L.S/LL.B. Course under the Affiliaton of University of Mumbai. The institution recognizes the fact that there lodges within the heart of every student that spark of creativity that, is the essence of singularity in every individual. About the Panelists

I. Mr. Manojkrishna Pillai is the co founder of Shopper.com. At Shopper.com he is responsible for the product and its growth. An entrepreneur at heart, he was instrumental in founding MobME one of the most recognised young technology startups in India. Manoj is a British Chevening Scholar and an MBA from Lancaster University UK.

II. Ms. Laura Vanessa has a multidisciplinary background In marketing & PR, entrepreneurship and international recruitment. She is the founder at Empowering Futures, organisation that has developed a transformational entrepreneurship programme and promotes diversity, inclusiveness and social impact. Laura also leads the business development and student recruitment strategy for Africa and the Americas at the top modern university in the UK and she is a fellow at the Royal Society of Arts.

III. Ms. Carolyn Keenan Carolyn is the Project Manager of BSEEN (Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employability Network). Responsible for developing and managing BSEEN a £1.5 million externally funded student and graduate start-up project in the West Midlands, since 2012. Carolyn has established and manage the Aston Enterprise department organising a programme of events workshops and competitions to raise the profile of enterprise among students and graduates and to encourage the development of an enterprising mindset.

IV. Mr. Gary Davidson is the Entrepreneur Engagement Manager at Tech Nation. Gary is passionate about empowering ambitious tech entrepreneurs to scale through knowledge, connections, growth programmes & acting as a point of contact within the Northern Ireland tech ecosystem. Mentor for Ulster Business School, Board Member on multiple charities & active in attracting UK investors via Northern Irish Gary Davidson dealflow.
