Guidelines

  1. The Article must be submitted in English only, not exceeding 3500 words (excluding footnotes).
  2. Co-Authorship up to two members is only allowed.
  3. The article must be the original work of the authors. The article published elsewhere or selected/ submitted for publication elsewhere/failing in our plagiarism check systems and procedures shall lead to immediate disqualification.
  4. The organizers reserve the right to cancel/disqualify any of the entry if found in violation of the guidelines for Submission.
  5. In all matters related to the Competition, the decision of the Panel and Amity Law School shall be final and conclusive

Formatting Guidelines

  1. The article should be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and Line Spacing 1.5, justified.
  2. The footnotes must be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and Line Spacing 1.
  3. The margin in each side shall be 2.54 cm i.e. 1 inch
  4. All submissions must follow the Bluebook 20th edition for citation.

Submission Guidelines

  1. All the Article must be sent by email to als@jpr.amity.edu with the subject “Submission for the ALS National Essay Writing Competition- 2020”
  2. The body of the e-mail must specify the Name, Address, e-mail id, Contact number and name of the College/University along with address and class of the Participant.
  3. The essay should not contain names or any other marks which reveal the identity of the author.
  4. The article must be attached in ‘.doc’or ‘.docx’ format.
