Dakshta – The Quizzing and Debating Society of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University proudly presents its National-Level Debate and Quiz Competitions, bringing together exceptional young minds from across the country to engage in meaningful intellectual exchange grounded in constitutional thought, legal understanding, and contemporary relevance. This combined national platform is designed to encourage rigorous dialogue, analytical reasoning, and a deep appreciation for the ideals of the Indian Constitution.

About the Quiz Competition

Dakshta proudly presents the National Quiz Competition, being organised to celebrate 75 years of India’s Constitutional Journey, reflecting on its legal evolution and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, to promote critical thinking, argumentation, and persuasive communication. The competition aims to provide a vibrant and intellectually stimulating platform for students from leading institutions across India. Participants will engage in rounds designed to test their understanding of constitutional law, legal principles, current affairs, general knowledge, and socio-political developments shaping the nation.

Format

Hybrid.

Eligibility

Open to all students of recognised University and College across India.

Registration Fee

• INR 100: Prelims
• INR 150: Additional for Semis and Final rounds

Prizes & Certificates

• Winner: INR 2,000
• Runner up 1: INR 1,800
• Runner up 2: INR 1,000
• Top 8 teams will receive Certificate of excellence.
• All other participants shall get certificate of participation.

About the Debate Competition

Debate is an academic debating tournament being organised to celebrate 75 years of India’s Constitutional Journey, reflecting on its legal evolution and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, to promote critical thinking, argumentation, and persuasive communication.

The tournament follows the format of CD+ APD (modified) i.e. the Conventional Debate + the Asian Parliamentary Debate. The debate is going to be done in three different formats: Prelims, Semi-finals and the Grand Finals. The Prelims round is going to be conducted in an online mode while the other two rounds are going to be conducted in offline mode. The structure and the rules for the competition are discussed in this rulebook.

Eligibility

• Open to students from any recognised institution in India.
• No discipline or course restriction.
• Team comprising of three members.
• Two members will be speakers and the third person would be an interjector.

Mode

• Hybrid.
• Preliminary Rounds: Online
• Semi-Final & Final Rounds: Offline at DBRANLU, Sonipat

• 24th November 2025: Preliminary Rounds
• 01st December 2025: Semi Final Rounds
• 01st December 2025: Final Round

Asian Parliamentary.

• Additional ₹250 for Semi-Final & Final Rounds (for qualifying teams)
