Duration of the Internship at Legal Bites
12th July 2019- 12th September 2019.
Application Procedure
I applied for the internship through Internshala portal. The procedure required me to fill up certain details on the portal itself. After about one month, I received a message from Legal Bites through the portal informing me that I had been shortlisted for a selection process.
The selection process was stretched over a period of two days and involved writing a few articles according to the given guidelines. Based on these articles, the final selection was made.
Projects/Tasks Undertaken
I drafted articles for online publishing. The articles were mostly on various topics in Jurisprudence and the Law of Evidence.
Work Environment, people
It was a work from the home internship. I had interactions with my internship mentor and the editor. Both of them were very encouraging and supportive throughout the duration of the internship.
Best things about the Internship
The internship has been a very meaningful experience. The best things about the internship include a highly supportive and encouraging team which never fails to keep you motivated and flexible work hours. Another thing worth mentioning is that I was given an opportunity to draft a proposition for a national level judgment writing competition.
The proposition was eventually selected and used for the competition. The entire experience was quite unique and made the internship all the more memorable. Further, the fact that I was given such an opportunity despite being just an intern is commendable.

Biggest Lessons
One of the biggest takeaways from the internship is my new-found skills in content writing. I applied for the internship in order to experience the field of online content writing and publishing.
I am confident that the skills I have acquired through this internship would be of immense help in the future.
