About CUET LLB Entrance Exam

The CUET LLB is an entrance exam designed for admission to LLB programs at prestigious universities such as Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University.

The Introduction of the Common University Entrance Test marks a significant step for admission into a diverse range of Programs across Central and State Universities/Institutions and participating Deemed/Private Universities/Institutions.

CUET aims to level the playing field, offering equal opportunities to candidates nationwide, including those from rural and remote areas.

Eligibility

There is no age restriction for candidates appearing in the CUET (UG) exam. For the 5-year Integrated Law program, individuals who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination, or are currently appearing for it, are eligible to participate, irrespective of their age. For the 3-year Law program, eligibility extends to those who have completed their bachelor's degree or are in their final year of college.

 However, candidates must meet any age requirements specified by the university, institution, or organization they wish to seek admission into

Indian nationals from specific categories (OBC-NCL, Gen-EWS, SC, ST) are granted admission under reserved seats, following the rules set by the Government of India. However, for Central Universities, the reservation policy established by each university will be enforced.

Exam Pattern

The CUET LLB Entrance Exam is conducted in Hybrid mode (Pen & Paper/ Computer) Based Test (CBT) mode. 

The duration of the test shall be 105 minutes. Each question shall carry four marks. For every correct answer, four marks will be awarded and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. No mark will be awarded or deducted for a question that is left unanswered.

If a question is dropped due to a technical error, all candidates will receive full marks, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.
